Hi, I’m Hazel I have been a counsellor for 8 years and I am also a qualified supervisor. I provide an integrative approach to counselling which brings together different styles of counselling allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual client. I work in a creative way which can be beneficial to some clients as it helps to express emotions and feelings.
I work with a wide range of issues including emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, childhood issues, self-harm, relationship issues, work issues, stress, bereavement, and anxiety. I work with adults and teenagers and have in the past worked in schools.
I provide a safe and quiet place to talk and reflect without judgement or bias. A place where you can be heard, this time is for you to work through, explore and understand your issues and problems enabling you to move forward and grow.
I worked in the public sector for many years but decided to take a different path and 12 years I started to train to become a counsellor as I believe in life, we all have or have had problems and I strongly believe counselling can help us overcome them and become our true selves.
I am a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
