Hello, I’m Fiona, an integrative counsellor with over nine years of experience working within a variety of settings, with adults, students, young people, and children. I’m an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold DBS certification.
As an integrative therapist I draw on a number of different approaches to best fit the individual needs of each person. These can include CBT, Compassion focused therapy, and Trauma informed therapy. I'm always open and explain which approach I think could be helpful, and therapy is always shaped collaboratively. I offer both short term goal focused therapy (usually 6 to 12 sessions) and longer-term therapy, in which you can gain a deeper understanding of past experiences and present difficulties.
My availability is Wednesdays and Thursdays between 8.00am and 7.00pm.
Types of Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Compassion Focused (CFT), Creative Therapy, Humanistic, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Trauma Focused.
Specialties and Expertise

First Session
It can be hard to reach out for help, particularly to someone you don't yet know or trust. With that in mind I offer a safe, non-judgemental, confidential, and neutral space in which you can talk about what is troubling you. As a person I'm warm, down to earth and will do everything I can to make you feel comfortable.
